A NBD-based Fluorescent Probe for the Detection of Biothiols and Sulfides
A novel fluorescent probe LD-TPA-NBD was synthesized and the properties of the probe in response to biothiols and sulfides were systematically investigated. The results indicated that the probe LD-TPA-NBD can specifically identify different active sulfur species at the excitation wave-lengths of 380 nm and 475 nm,respectively. The detection limits of the probe for Cys,GSH,Hcy,HS and HSO3-were 47.7 nM,72.2 nM,76.9 nM,0.34 μM and 0.207 μM(λex=380 nm),respectively. In addi-tion,by studying the fluorescence dynamics of the probe LD-TPA-NBD,it was found that the fluores-cence signal of this probe can level off within 3 min-7 min.Probe LD-TPA-NBD can provide a refer-ence for the discovery of fluorescent probes for the detection of active sulfur species.
