Marriage and childbearing culture is a cultural custom related to marriage and child-birth.It has the characteristics of systematicness,conservatism and inheritance.It is the most typical as-pect of regional cultural differences.The traditional marriage and childbearing culture in Fuping Coun-ty is unique and deeply rooted in the local folk customs and historical culture.The marriage and child-bearing culture of Fuping County has formed a set of dialect cultural words with both dialect character-istics and cultural characteristics through the records of dialects,which is of double value for dialect re-search and dialect culture research.This article explains the cultural lexical forms of marriage and child-birth of Fuping County in Shaanxi Province.
