This paper compiles and organizes data on the national and provincial intangible cultur-al heritage from the four cities along the Yellow River in Shanxi Province.It makes use of Geographic Information System(GIS)spatial analysis methods to explore the spatial distribution characteristics of this heritage and proposes construction strategies for intangible cultural heritage corridors along the Yel-low River in Shanxi Province.The results indicate that the spatial distribution of intangible cultural her-itage along the Yellow River in Shanxi Province exhibits a clustered distribution pattern,generally high-lighting a trend of agglomeration characterized by"multiple concentrations and wide dispersal."Fur-thermore,it reveals a geographical pattern where the distribution is"dense in the south and sparse in the north,"resulting in one high-density area and three sub-density areas within the spatial structure.The paper proposes strategies for constructing the ICH corridor in the Yellow River region of Shanxi from two main aspects:the corridor levels(regional,ICH clusters,and heritage resource points)and ele-ments(green corridors and interpretation systems).
