Construction of Eu@UiO-66-(COOH)2 Photoluminescent System and Application in the Detection of Heavy Metal Ions
Copper is an essential nutrient for life and a typical heavy metal pollutant. Therefore, the detection of copper in life and water with high sensitivity and selectivity is of great significance for ecological environment, food safety, and human health. The excellent properties of lanthanide metal-organic frameworks(Ln-MOFs)can realize qualitative or quantitative specific detection functions based on changes in lanthanide ion(Ln3+)photoluminescent intensities. However, the disadvantages of Ln3+,such as its high coordination number, uncontrollable structure, and poor water stability, limit the practical applications of Ln-MOFs in aqueous solutions. In this paper,a lanthanide ion-doped Eu@UiO-66-(COOH)2 material was obtained by a post-synthesis modification method. This Ln-MOF material has high stability and photoluminescent properties and can be used for detecting Cu2+in aqueous so-lutions.Under the complex conditions that interfere with the coexistence of cations, the photoluminescent detection performance is still highly sensitive with response time of 30 s and detection limit as low as 0.63 μmol/L.This study provides an important refer-ence for the future design and application of Ln-MOFs sensing materials in related fields in the future.
