Study on Flotation Separation of Rare Earth and Fluorite with PA Collector in Weak Acid System
Phthalic acid(PA)can separate rare earth from fluorite efficiently in weak acid system.Under the condition of sulfuric acid dosage of 1.8 kg/t,inhibitor sodium silicate dosage of 2.1 kg/t and phthalic acid dosage of 2.4 kg/t,fluorite concentrate with CaF2 grade of 95.23%and its recovery rate of 84.19%were obtained by closed-circuit test in a way of"one roughing-three refining-two scavenging middling".Reasonable collector and pulp pH are the key to realize continuous flotation of fluorite and rare earth,which can improve the utilization rate of Baiyun Obo ore resources.
