Mechanism and Path Selection of Empowering High-quality Development of Green Economy Through Digital Economy
Based on the provincial level panel data in China from 2013 to 2020,the paper analyzes the influence mechanism and heterogeneity of digital economy on the high-quality development of green economy.The results show that digital economy can effectively promote the high-quality development of green economy,digital economy promotes high-quality development of green economy by upgrading of industrial structure and technological innovation.The influence of digital economy on the high-quality development of green economy is more significant in the eastern and central regions,but not in the western and north-east regions.With policy support,digital economy has a greater impact on the development level of green economy,policy ad-vantages can enhance the impact of the digital economy on the high-quality development of the green economy.Therefore,it is suggested to speed up the innovation of digital economy infrastructure and technology,steadily promote the coordinated deve-lopment of regional digital economy,deepen the integration of digital economy and green economy,so as to promote the high-quality development of green economy.
