Discussion on Control of Welding Deformation of Aluminum Al-loy Structural Components
Due to the high coefficient of thermal expansion,aluminum alloys suffer from severe welding deformation.Therefore,in order to reduce welding deformation,an analysis was conducted on the welding deformation of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy,and further research was conducted on the deformation of aluminum alloy thin plates after applying control measures.The experi-mental results show that during electron beam overlay welding,the deformation in the central area of the aluminum alloy thin plate is the largest,and the measured deformation is always smaller than the simulated deformation.This is because a fixture was used to clamp the thin plate during the experiment,and after applying reverse deformation or rigid constraints,the deforma-tion of the thin plate is significantly less and opposite to the original deformation direction.The above results indicate that the anti deformation method or rigid constraint method can effectively reduce the welding deformation of aluminum alloys,and the control effect of rigid constraint method is better.
