The Application of Audio Magnetotelluric Measurement and Induced Polarization Depth Measurement in Water Exploration
Audio magnetotelluric measurement(AMT)is used to detect hidden structures such as faults and fractured zones, providing favorable areas for water exploration through induced polarization method.Furthermore, the apparent resistivity is measured through induced polarization method(ρs)Visual polarizability(ηs)Determine the location and depth of the aquifer,as well as the location of the next drilling well.Fissure water exists in underground water in hard rock fractures. The density, opening degree, and connectivity of cracks directly affect the distribution, movement, and enrichment of crack water.Structural fissure water is not only widely distributed, but can also accumulate in large quantities under certain conditions.Fault fissures, with good hydraulic conductivity and large scale, can also act as channels to connect groundwater in different aquifers, and even connect with surface water, providing abundant water sources for water supply projects.
