Experimental Study on Sulfuric Acid Stirring Leaching of Ox-idized Copper ore
Significant achievements have been made in the study of sulfuric acid stirring leaching of a copper oxide ore in the Democratic Republic of Congo.Research has shown that under normal temperature and pressure conditions, high potential cop-per leaching rates have been successfully achieved by adjusting factors such as grinding fineness, slurry liquid solid volume ra-tio,stirring time, sulfuric acid concentration, and stirring speed.Specifically, under the process conditions of grinding fineness of-200 mesh accounting for 86%,slurry liquid solid volume ratio of 4∶1,stirring time of 6 hours, sulfuric acid mass concentra-tion of 30 g/L,and stirring speed of 200 r/min,the copper leaching rate exceeds 84%,with high stability and strong repeatabili-ty.One of the outstanding advantages of this process is its simplicity and ease of operation.By adjusting multiple factors reason-ably,the ideal copper leaching effect can be achieved without the need for complex equipment or technical conditions,provid-ing a convenient operating method for production. At the same time, its low-cost characteristics further highlight its practicali-ty,without the need for expensive raw materials or special equipment, thereby saving production costs. In addition, this process method is environmentally friendly.Compared with other traditional copper extraction methods,it reduces the discharge of wastewater and exhaust gas, greatly reduces environmental pollution, and meets the modern process requirements of green and sustainable development.
