Abstract
Through the analysis of the changes in market demand for construction steel in Xinjiang from January to July 2023,it is concluded that the main factors affecting competition,sales prices,and channel construction in the construction steel mar-ket in Xinjiang are the resource structure of oversupply,which is also the root cause of disorderly market competition.The sur-plus of construction steel resources,channel differentiation,and diversity of channel choices have worsened the market compe-tition pattern.In 2024,there are both opportunities and challenges in the market.Seizing market opportunities requires mutual coordination among steel mills to jointly maintain the market and reduce disorderly competition.
