Research on Weak Magnetic Mineral Mining Considering HGMS Beneficiation Process
For weakly magnetic ores,it is difficult to separate the iron ore through ordinary magnetic separators.By studying the selection of high gradient magnetic separators for magnetic separation,the magnetic materials can be effectively separated.Corresponding high gradient magnetic separation processes have been developed for typical weakly magnetic ores such as il-menite and hematite,fully leveraging the advantages in selecting weakly magnetic ores.The research results indicate that,un-der the same grinding fineness,the mineral quality sorted is always the smallest at 6.0 m/s2.As the grinding fineness increases,both the recovery rate and quality of minerals decrease.When the grinding fineness is 70%,the mineral quality and recovery rate are optimal.With the increase of slurry flow rate,the quality and recovery rate of sorted minerals decrease,and the quality stabilizes at around 30.18%at 9.0 m/s2.When the slurry flow rate is 6.4 L/min,the mineral quality and recovery rate are opti-mal.It can be seen that the weak magnetic mineral mining method based on high gradient magnetic separation technology pro-posed in the study is effective in mineral processing and mining,and has reference significance for improving the efficiency of weak magnetic mineral mining.
