The electrocoagulation method has high treatment efficiency, easy operation, the ability to simultaneously remove suspended solids and colloidal substances, and does not require additional chemical agents. It is widely used in fields such as wastewater treatment, sewage treatment, and drinking water purification. This article applies the electrocoagulation method to conduct continuous flow experiments on coal washing wastewater, analyzing the effects of different hydraulic retention times, current intensities, and electrode numbers on the removal efficiency of suspended solids in wastewater. The results showed that the optimal hydraulic retention time, optimal current intensity, and optimal number of plates were 15 min,15 A,and 24 pieces, respectively;Based on the increase of influent concentration, the resistance in the electrolytic cell increases, and the electroly-sis voltage continuously increases with the increase of influent concentration, showing a good suspended solids removal rate.
