Analysis and Improvement of the Causes of Strip Breakage in the Cold-rolled Thin Gauge and Hard Rolled Coils of Baosteel
In cold rolling production,strip breakage is a common accident.The occurrence of strip breakage accidents can di-rectly cause the production line to shut down,reduce the operating rate,and at the same time,the damaged strip steel becomes scrap.The quality of the pickled products is degraded.When a serious strip breakage accident occurs,it can also cause the roll-ing mill to stick to steel,burst,and increase the consumption of the rolling mill.This article analyzes and studies various rea-sons for strip breakage in cold rolling mills,such as raw material quality,poor pickling and edge cutting,and proposes various measures to reduce strip breakage,providing guidance for cold rolling production.
