Field Application Practice of Sliding Plate Slag Retaining Tech-nology of Converter
Based on the analysis of the mechanical principle of the sliding plate slag-blocking mechanism of the converter,the deformation data of the sliding plate slag-blocking mechanism of the converter were statistically analyzed and the reasonable deformation technical range was determined through field industrial tests and production practice,which provided technical support for the reduction of off-line maintenance workload of the sliding plate spring and the reduction of the frequency of steel crossing between the sliding plates.At the same time,the maintenance operation specification of the sliding plate is optimized to further reduce the frequency of ladle phosphorus return.The comparative analysis shows that the sliding plate slag blocking technology has a high success rate and good slag blocking effect on the converter,and the slag blocking rate of the converter can be controlled above 99.5%,which provides quality assurance for the production of high-end varieties of steel by the con-verter.It is of great value to popularize the method of sliding plate slag-blocking of converter in domestic iron and steel enter-prises.
