This article analyzes the operation practice of OY furnace shutdown.OY furnace started the shaft furnace downfeed line at 0:00 on December 25,2023,started the gasifier downfeed surface on December 26,and stopped the furnace at 5:43on December 27.Both of the two furnaces in Ouye furnace adopt the method of spraying water from the top of the furnace to lower the material level.The whole process of shutdown is introduced,including the preparation before shutdown and the adjustment of furnace condition.The safety measures such as controlling the top coal gas volume to lower the shaft furnace level,charging water to control the top temperature and controlling the CO2 content of gasifier are adopted to provide the safety technical sup-port for the shutdown of the downsizing line of European Metallurgical furnace.
