Application of Linear Programming Simplex Method in Mining Ore Allocation
The simplex method of linear programming is an algorithm for solving linear programming problems. As a branch of operations research,it is suitable for complex programming problems with a large number of decision variables and constraints. It is an effective mathematical method to assist people in scientific management.By applying the linear programming simplex method and combining it with MATLAB software for mathematical analysis, the objective function is obtained to solve the annu-al ore allocation problem in various mining areas of a certain iron zinc mine. The goal is to maximize the mine's revenue while meeting the requirements of the beneficiation plant for the selected grade and a certain grinding coefficient of the ore.
