In this paper,the status quo and problems of automatic coiling tail-setting control in hot rolling of zhansteel 2250 are fully investigated.Combined with the existing equipment conditions,an optimized control method of automatic coiling tail-setting control is designed on L1 system.The method is now in stable operation in 2250 rolling line.On the basis of no addition-al hardware investment,the fixed end automatic rate of the coiler is greatly improved,from the early 58.74%to 99.87%,the effect is obvious,and it is of great significance to stabilize the field production and promote the automatic rolling.
