Fluid analysis and structural optimization of air supply manifold of 4MZ-4 self-propelled box type cotton picker
For the newly developed 4MZ-4 self-propelled box type cotton picker,in order to analyze the flow characteristics of its air supply system and ensure uniform distribution of air volume in the four conveying pipelines,CFD modeling and analysis were conducted on the four lines centrifugal fan and one quarter manifold using Hypermesh and Fluent software.The outlet flow data of the centrifugal fan was analyzed,and the outlet flow rate of the fan was used as the boundary condition of the manifold inlet to calculate the flow rate and flow ratio of each outlet of the manifold,and the manifold structure was optimized based on the air flow status inside the manifold,and the uniformity of the air flow ratio in the optimized manifold was significantly improved.
