Experiment on cow dung and walnut branches mixed fermentation physicochemical properties and optimization of equipment and process
The chemical properties of cow dung and walnut branches were tested by composting experiments of fresh cow dung, cow dung and walnut branches, cow dung and walnut branches with fermentation agent. At the same time, according to the soil mechanics test method, the physical characteristics parameters such as moisture content, electrical conductivity, hardness, wet density and shear strength of each stage of organic fertilizer fermentation were studied. The results showed that the mass fraction of organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and total potassium of the three piles decreased at the initial stage of composting, then slowly increased, and finally stabilized at 32%,39%,40%,6.33%,9.48%,9.53%,0.95%,1.26%,1.29%and 1.71%,2.59%,2.48%respectively.The compost with fruit branch and bactericide has the least nutrient loss. The EC values of the three reactors showed the same trend and gradually increased. Then, with the volatilization of CO2 and NH3,the EC values began to decline slowly. Finally, the EC values of the three reactors stabilized at 5.44ms/cm,5.94ms/cm and 5.54ms/cm,respectively.During the composting process, the wet density of the three piles generally decreased with the increase of composting days.At the end of composting, the wet density of the three piles was 0.71 g/cm3,0.65 g/cm3 and 0.45 g/cm3 respectively.
