From Urban-rural Dual Development to Urban-rural Integrated Development——The Development of Urban-rural Relationship in the Process of Chinese Path to Modernization
The key to achieving integrated development between urban and rural areas lies in eliminating the marginalization of re-gional and urban-rural resource allocation caused by institutional and historical factors,thereby promoting the transformation and upgrading of the national economic structure and achieving modernization.Reviewing the development process of China,it is found that China's urban-rural relationship is a process of transformation from separation,confrontation to integration,and from unbal-anced to balanced development.This process has grasped the generation logic of the Chinese path to modernization road,realized a new realm of urban-rural integration development,and opened up a new path of Marxist modernization theory.At present,there are still problems in the integrated development of rural revitalization and new urbanization in China,such as incomplete institutional mechanisms,poor inclusiveness of basic public service systems in urban and rural areas,uneven distribution of rural infrastructure construction,and uncoordinated spatial structure relationships between urban and rural areas.The article believes that it is neces-sary to carry out strategic planning of the material,cultural,institutional aspects,establish a scientific concept of urban-rural inte-gration,and continuously improve the rural governance system;utilize the joint efforts of effective markets and promising govern-ments to promote the integration of urban and rural factor markets;empower urban and rural industries with digital technology to nurture more new industries that are conducive to urban-rural integration and development.
