A Review and Outlook on the Inclusive Development of Agricultural Food Systems
Building an inclusive agricultural food system is an important foundation for ensuring the safe supply of nutritious food for vulnerable groups and achieving common prosperity.By reviewing domestic and foreign literature,a review was conducted on the relevant theories and methods, inclusive subjects, inclusive policies, and inclusive institutional mechanisms of the agricultural food system. The results indicate that research on the inclusiveness of agricultural food systems is relatively lacking and the study is in the initial exploration stage.A consensus has been formed that an inclusive system is a core feature that integrates"equal rights, sharing, common prosperity, and sustainability",with a focus on vulnerable groups such as the elderly, the weak, and women and children,as well as remote rural areas, emphasizing the protection of the interests of vulnerable groups, equal opportunities, and sustainable development. However, there are shortcomings such as vague and scattered definition of inclusiveness in the agri-cultural food system, lack of interdisciplinary theoretical research framework, incomplete indicator system quantitative design,inad-equate empirical research on the entire industry chain and policy implementation effects of the agricultural food system, and no sys-tematic and heterogeneous research on stakeholders.Future research should clarify the focus and key areas of inclusive agricultural food systems, and conduct interdisciplinary, systematic, and heterogeneous research based on its market circulation, with the aim of providing a foundation for optimizing the policy system and institutional arrangements for the transformation of the food system.
