Research on the Current Situation,Regional Differences and Convergence of Total Factor Productivity in China's Cultural Industry
Based on the input and output data of cultural industry in 31 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions(exclud-ing Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)in China from 2013 to 2021,this paper uses the variable coefficient production function to measure the TFP of China's cultural industry.On this basis,the paper uses the descriptive analysis,dagum Gini coefficient,coeffi-cient of variation,and panel data models to analyze the current situation,regional differences,and convergence characteristics of China's cultural industry TFP.The results are as follows.Firstly,in sample observation period,the TFP of China's cultural indus-try showed an increasing trend annually,and showed a gradual decreasing trend from the East to the West.Secondly,the regional differences in China's cultural industry TFP have been increasing year by year,and inter regional differences are the major factor for regional differences in cultural industry TFP.Thirdly,TFP of China's cultural industry does not exist σ convergence character-istics,but there is absolute β Convergence characteristics and conditions β Convergence characteristics.Finally,to provide experi-ence and reference for narrowing the regional differences in China's cultural industry TFP and accelerating the high-quality devel-opment of China's cultural industry,suggestions are proposed to vigorously enhance the technological innovation capabilities of the cultural industry,implement regional coordination,and give full play to the role of leading industries,etc.so as to provide experi-ence and reference for narrowing the regional gap in cultural industry TFP and accelerating the high-quality development of China's cultural industry.
