A Study on the Impact of Integration of Digital and Real Economy on China's Common Prosperity——Empirical Testing Based on Inter-provincial Panel Data
Common prosperity is an important goal of China's socio-economic development. How to promote high-quality econom-ic development and common prosperity has become a problem that China needs to face when entering a new stage. With the goal of common prosperity, using data from 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2021,the paper empirically explores the impact and mech-anism of the integration of the digital economy and the real economy on common prosperity with spatial Durbin model and spatial convergence model.Research has found that the integration of the digital economy and the real economy contributes to the realiza-tion of common prosperity in local and spatially related areas, and the results are still significant after robustness and endogeneity tests. The more backward the development of digital technology in regions, the more obvious the effect of integrating data and reali-ty to promote common prosperity. Both the integration of data and reality in China and common prosperity show spatiotemporal con-vergence characteristics, with reduced volatility and regional disparities over time. The convergence characteristics of data and real-ity fusion contribute to the spatiotemporal convergence of common prosperity. It is recommended to focus on the central and west-ern regions of China, promote the digital industrialization and development of traditional industries, use digital finance as a tool to narrow the digital divide between regions, and achieve the goal of common prosperity.
