The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to adhere to the integrated develop-ment of urban and rural areas and facilitate the flow of urban and rural factors.The integrated development of urban and rural areas is an inherent requirement of a modernized powerful country and essential for achieving common prosperity.Building a unified na-tional market is an important condition for promoting high-quality development of urban-rural integration.Against the background of moving towards a new stage of high-quality development,China is currently in the critical period of the transformation of eco-nomic system and urban-rural structure.It is necessary to combine the unified national market with the urban-rural factor market,and grasp the inherent theoretical logic and practical path of the two to deepen our understanding of the laws of socialist market economy.At present,there is a lag in the market-oriented reform process of land,labor,capital,and data elements between urban and rural areas in China.The decisive role of the market in the allocation of urban and rural factors needs to be improved,and there is a contradiction between the urban-rural dual system structure and the construction of a unified national market.Therefore,it is necessary to accelerate the market-oriented reform of urban and rural land factors,promote the integration of urban and rural labor factor markets,promote the inclusive rural revitalization of capital markets,cultivate a unified data factor market for urban and ru-ral areas,empower various factors to gather in agriculture and rural areas,and gather in new quality productivity.It is proposed to break down the multi-track operation and segmentation of various factor markets between urban and rural areas,promote the coor-dination of various factor market systems in policy orientation and mutual promotion in implementation,and achieve the organic in-tegration and development of urban and rural factor markets.
