Research on the Effect of Income Growth and Income Gap Reduction in Digital Inclusive Finance——Empirical Evidence from Xinjiang
Based on the theoretical analysis of urban-rural dual economic structure, financial development and income equality, this paper uses the panel data of Xinjiang prefectures from 2011 to 2019,and uses quantile regression and generalized spatial mod-el to study the heterogeneity and gap narrowing effect of digital inclusive finance in Xinjiang on the income growth of urban and ru-ral residents. The results show that digital inclusive finance has heterogeneity for the income growth of urban and rural residents, and the growth effect is different in different income levels;Digital inclusive finance has a narrowing effect on the urban-rural in-come gap,but the spatial spillover effect is not significant. The multi-dimensional study found that coverage and depth of use had significant effects on narrowing the urban-rural gap,but the spatial spillover effects were not significant.Accordingly, the following main policy recommendations are put forward:to accelerate the scale and speed of rural digital inclusive finance construction in border areas;Reasonably allocate financial resources and enhance the radiation effect of"one ring, one belt and one group"central cities on backward areas; We will accelerate modernization and promote the integrated development of urban and rural.areas.
