The Impact of Digital Transformation on Corporate Resilience——Based on the Regulatory Role of Government Subsidies
Based on the theory of digital empowerment and resource dependence,this paper analyzes the impact of enterprise digi-tal transformation on enterprise resilience under the VUCA environment.Using the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2012 to 2021,this paper verifies the impact mechanism of enterprise digital transformation on enterprise resilience and the regula-tory role of government subsidies,and discusses the impact of enterprise digital transformation on enterprise resilience under differ-ent conditions of enterprise property rights and industry competition.The formation of enterprise resilience follows the theory of cri-sis management,and divides enterprise resilience into resistance ability,adaptive ability,recovery ability and growth ability.The results show that digital transformation can improve enterprise resilience,that is,digital transformation enhances resistance ability,adaptive ability,recovery ability and growth ability;government subsidies positively regulate the relationship between digital trans-formation and corporate resilience;compared with non-state-owned enterprises,digital transformation in state-owned enterprises has a more significant effect on the recovery ability and growth ability of enterprises.In enterprises with low industry competition,digital transformation has a more significant effect on the improvement of enterprises'resilience ability and growth ability.Facing the current VUCA environment,this study aims to put forward countermeasures and suggestions for enterprises to implement digital transformation,enhance enterprise resilience and promote high-quality development of enterprises.
