How Can Rural Characteristic Resources Facilitate Rural Revitalization from the Perspective of Neo-Endogenous Development?——A Case Study of Guizhou"Village BA"
To comprehensively promote the rural revitalization strategy,it is necessary to pay attention to the exploration and utiliza-tion of rural characteristic resources and create characteristic industries and local characteristic brands.Based on the theory of new endogenous development and the theory of actor network, this paper constructs an analytical framework to explore rural characteris-tic resources to help rural revitalization, and takes Guizhou"Village BA"as a typical case to carry out a specific analysis. It is found that the practice of"Village BA"is a new endogenous development model driven by local characteristic resources,in which the government, the market and the countryside participate. The essence is that the heterogeneous actors of the countryside build a dynamic cooperation network through the transforming mechanism to jointly promote the transformation of economic, social and gov-ernance values of rural characteristic resources. The implementation mechanisms of rural characteristic resources aiding rural revi-talization,exemplified by the"Village BA"practice, encompass three primary facets:(1)fully exploiting local cultural elements to enrich the value of endogenous rural resources;(2)maintaining villagers'principal position and enabling two-way communication channels that are both"top-down"and"bottom-up";(3)allowing for appropriate engagement by exogenous forces, such as the gov-ernment,while preserving ample natural space for sustainable rural development. This research contributes to the understanding of rural revitalization strategies and their implementation mechanisms, drawing valuable insights from the"Village BA"case study.
