New Quality Productivity of Chinese Agriculture:Horizontal Measurement,Regional Differences, and Spatiotemporal Evolution Characteristics
New quality productivity of Agriculture is an important component of new quality productivity, and its development is of great significance for achieving high-quality agricultural development and building an agricultural powerhouse.Based on panel da-ta from 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020,this article constructs indicators for agricultural new quality productivity and uses entropy method,Dagum Gini coefficient,ESDA method, kernel density estimation, traditional and spatial Markov chain models to study the development level, regional differences, and spatial evolution trends of agricultural new quality productivity in China. The results are as follows.(1)During the sample period, the gap in agricultural new quality productivity levels between provinces in Chi-na gradually narrowed, but overall showed a hierarchical pattern of differences from high to low, with a pattern of eastern region>central region>western region>northeast region.(2)The overall Gini coefficient of the four major geographical zones and the three major grain functional zones shows a downward trend;the inter regional and intra regional contribution rates are the main factors contributing to the differences in agricultural new quality productivity among provinces in China.(3)There is a significant spatial correlation in the development of agricultural new quality productivity, with obvious local autocorrelation clustering in the eastern and western regions.(4)During the sample period, there were polarization differences within the region, and there were"self-lock-ing effects"and"Matthew effects"in the development of agricultural new quality productivity without considering spatial factors;when incorporating spatial factors, the probability of the transfer of agricultural new quality productivity development increased.
