Optimizing the governance mechanisms of cotton cooperatives is an important measure to promote the standardized devel-opment of the cotton cooperatives in XPCC,improve operational performance,and achieve high-quality development of cotton.This article conducts field research on 30 representative cotton cooperatives in XPCC,analyzes its current state of the governance mech-anisms,and finds that there are still shortcomings in aspects such as democratic management,incentives and benefit distribution,and supervisory mechanisms.Based on this,it proposes solutions such as valuing decision transparency and record archiving,im-proving incentive methods and balancing benefit distribution,and perfecting supervisory mechanisms and standardizing financial management.The aim is to optimize the governance mechanisms of cotton cooperatives,promote high-quality development of the cotton industry,and increase income for workers and the masses.
