Interpretating the Concept of"Silk Road Studies"and Constructing Academic Discourse on the"Belt and Road"Initiatives
Based on a sample analysis of the concept of"Silk Road Studies",this paper aims to outline the growth of Chinese Silk Road Studies in terms of discovery,interface and establishment.In the new practice of reinterpreting the"Belt and Road",a new momentum of multi-dimensional and parallel progress has been formed,significantly transforming global Silk Road studies.Researches by Chinese scholars such as Huang Wenbi,Ji Xianlin,and Geng Sheng reflect the difficult process of China's Silk Road studies in moving from conscious disciplinary awareness to autonomous knowledge production,showing the historical logic of how China's Dunhuang studies has won the right to speak globally,and establishing a new direction in building the academic discourse of the"Belt and Road".In other words,we need to form a Chinese path to build the academic discourse of the"Belt and Road"in the process of uncovering problems,revising theories,and enriching concepts,and respond to the philosophical,academic questions of the times by focusing on the core issues of Silk Road studies.
