The inspection system of the CPC keeps pace with the times to realize the change of attributes and functions.In the early period of the party,the inspection system was an extension of its leadership to guide the party organization construction and the communication between different levels,During the period of socialist construction,the inspection system strengthened the supervision attribute to implement specific tasks of higher-level party organizations,and explore an important way to supervise party officials.Since the reform and opening up,the inspection system has directly pointed to corruption issues,and has gradually become a major intra-party supervision mechanism recognized by a number of intra-party regulations to comprehensively supervise lower-level party organizations.Since the new era,the inspection system has become an institutional weapon against corruption.The basic positioning of political inspection has been established and continuously deepened,and it has played a linking role in the construction of the party and state supervision systems.Over the past 100 years,the inspection system has developed from an auxiliary arrangement of the leadership system to a strategic arrangement of intra-Party supervision,but its fundamental political task has always been to maintain the authority of the Party Central Committee and its centralized leadership.
