New Quality Productivity,Firm Innovation and Supply Chain Resilience:Micro Evidence from Listed Companies in China
The article explores the impact of new quality productivity on supply chain resilience and its underlying mechanisms.Theoretically,new quality productivity has a positive effect on sup-ply chain resilience by enhancing firms'innovation capability.Empirically,the article takes 837 listed companies in China from 2010 to 2022 as research samples,measures the new quality productivity of enterprises through the dimensions of workers,labor objects and labor materials,and obtains the supply chain toughness of enterprises from the perspectives of supply chain resistance,resilience,and creativity,and examines the effect of new quality productivity on supply chain toughness.The results show that new productivity can positively contribute to supply chain resilience,showing an incremental nonlinear spillover effect,in which enterprise innovation plays a positive role,and the effect is heterogeneous in different quartiles,sub-indicators,industrial categories and enterprise na-ture,and the five major urban agglomerations are also distinctive in their development.This study provides a reference for enterprises to develop new quality productivity,formulate supply chain re-silience enhancement strategies,and continuously improve their innovation capacity.
