County Social Work:What is Possible and What can be Done
In the context of promoting Chinese-style modernization and the establishment of the central social work department,counties have become an important node and key field for China's social work institutional construction and high-quality development.The unique connotations of structural integrity,situational specificity,and localization of action have laid the coupling founda-tion of value fit,mutual construction of methods,and co-efficiency between social work and county governance,and nurtured the possibility of social work in counties.The development of county social work is directed by systematic construction,which includes balanced development from city to coun-tryside,comprehensive development by integrating specialties,and integrated development from mi-cro to macro.Based on this,through the action strategies of party building,embedding in the central work,and collaborating with multiple innovations,the ecosystem of social work in the county with related resources,roles,and interests will be created to realize the feasibility of social work in the county.The paradigm self-consciousness of county social work is not only the foundation of the con-struction of the discourse system of social work with Chinese characteristics,but also an organic component of promoting the modernization of county governance,and the inevitable requirement of Chinese-style modernization.
