It is inevitable that intangible cultural heritage(ICH)faces challenges from the digital age,and creative transformation and innovative development of ICH is the true meaning of its living inheritance.The digital presentation of cultural genes,reconstruction of spatial and temporal chan-ges,integration of aesthetic experience,and the optimization of social value constitute the main con-notations of creative transformation and innovative development of ICH in the digital era.At the same time,paradoxes emerging such as,the gap between technological advancement and the spiritu-ality of ICH,the double-edged sword between enhanced communication effectiveness and increased risk of infringement of ICH,the challenge between the popularization of digital platforms and the shrinking of the traditional ICH community space,as well as the confrontation between user-genera-ted content and authoritative discourse of ICH.On the basis of understanding the main connota-tions,facing these paradoxes requires exploring the harmonious coexistence between digital technol-ogy and ICH through cultural resonance across technological boundaries,intelligent copyright man-agement,community digital empowerment,and open innovation and creation platforms,in order to avoid the alienation and dissolution of cultural characteristics in digital representation.
