Optimization of Emergency Decision-making Mechanism for Public Health Emergencies from the Perspective of National Governance Modernization——Taking'Post Well-off Society'as the Starting Point
It has become a significant task in China to improve the emergency decision-making mechanism for sud-den public health incidents.On the one hand,this mechanism which helps promote the enhancement of the nation-al governance system and capacity holds great significance for the national governance system and governance ca-pacity.On the other hand,this mechanism is crucial for the management of sudden public health incidents.Since decision-making is the primary and extremely important step in the management of such incidents,low-quality decisions and mistakes can and should be avoided by employing scientific decision-making methods and rational thinking to ensure the effectiveness of dealing with sudden public health incidents.This paper,from the perspective of modernizing national governance,takes China's emergency decision-making mechanism for emergent public health incidents as its starting point and proposes reform ideas for the emergency decision-making mechanism re-garding public health emergencies in the'post well-off society'era on the basis of reflecting on existing emergen-cy decision-making issues.
