Situation,Hotspots and Prospect of the Studies in Spiritual Genealogy of Chinese Communists:A Visual Analysis Based on CiteSpace
The spiritual genealogy of Chinese Communists has been formed through the struggles of successive gener-ations of the Chinese Communist Party during the periods of revolution,construction,and reform.By utilizing CiteSpace software,a visual analysis was conducted on 376 CSSCI source journal articles collected in CNKI from 982018 to 2023.The findings reveal:Although the studies in the spiritual genealogy of Chinese Communists started relatively late,it has been growing rapidly and mainly conducted by the national key Marxist schools,among which collaboration remains weak;the research outputs are primarily distributed in core journals related to higher educa-tion,comprehensive education,and Party building;research hotspots focus on the essential connotations,genera-tion mechanisms,structural relationships,value implications,continuation paths,and General Secretary Xi Jin-ping's significant expositions on the spiritual genealogy of Chinese Communists.Overall,the research has gone through three stages:initial concept recognition,theoretical elaboration,and practical exploration,characterized by multiple hotspots,rapid changes,and a distinct policy orientation.Currently,the research has shifted from the on-tological and epistemological levels to the axiological and praxiological levels,with cultural dimension,times value,summaries and reviews and promotion paths as the hotspots.The coming research will focus on the'Two Combina-tions',optimizing research paradigms,strengthening comparative learning,and enhancing the theoretical,system-atic,diverse,and practical aspects of the research in line with the'Two Overall Situations'to further deepen the studies of the spiritual genealogy of Chinese Communists.
