Study on Diversified Import Pathways of Xinjiang Cotton Under the Perspective of Chinese Path to Modernization
Enhancing supply chain resilience and security is an essential requirement of Chinese modernization and a core aspect of constructing a modern industrial system.Currently,Xinjiang cotton import trade faces challenges such as high concentration in source market,highly-concentrated product categories,and limited options for trade modes.Particularly against the backdrop of deglobalization,intensified geopolitical conflicts,and rising trade pro-tectionism,the constrained import pathways further expose the vulnerabilities of the Xinjiang cotton industry supply chain,leading to increased instability and risks,which hinders the stable development and transformation of the modern textile industrial system.Therefore,implementing a diversified import strategy is a robust approach to reduc-ing supply chain risks,enhancing supply chain resilience,and ensuring supply chain stability.Based on the case of the trade and investment integration of Xinjiang Cotton Company L,this study explores import pathways that pro-mote diversification and secure supply through cooperative efforts,so as to provide strategic insights into ensuring the supply security of Xinjiang cotton in the context of a modernized development journey.
