Further Advancing Cultural Replenishment of Xinjiang by Giving Full Play to the Role of Classic Xinjiang Musical Works
Xinjiang,known as the"land of song and dance",has a rich tradition of classic musical works created by its diverse ethnic groups through long-term social practice.These works span different eras,regions,ethnic groups,and forms of expression,forming an integral part of Chinese culture and functioning as a"new carrier"for developing socialist advanced culture,a"source of motivation"for promoting revolutionary culture,and a"living fossil"of China's excellent traditional culture,and play a vital role in advancing cultural integration in Xinjiang.It was pointed out in the"2024 Report on the Work of Xinjiang Government":"Efforts should be intensified to promote cultural integration in Xinjiang,fostering a tangible,perceptible,and effective sense of community for the Chinese nation,"and to implement the"Land of Song and Dance"Brand-building Initiative.Giving full play of the role of the classic Xinjiang musical works helps to implement this initiative,advance Cultural Replenishment of Xinjiang,and foster a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in the tangible,perceptible and effective way.It also supports the comprehensive modernization of Xinjiang in line with Chinese Path to Modernization,contributing to the construction of a more beautiful Xinjiang.
