Effect of Cultural and Tourism Integration on the Green Development of Resource-based Cities in Xinjiang
This paper selects 8 resource-based cities in Xinjiang as the research object and establishes an indicator system for cultural and tourism integration and green development.In addition,using panel data from 2010 to 2020,it systematically examines the effect of cultural and tourism integration on the green development of resource-based cities in Xinjiang.The findings are as follows:1.Cultural and tourism integration significantly promotes green de-velopment in resource-based cities in Xinjiang.For every 1-unit increase in the level of cultural and tourism in-tegration,the green development level of these cities improves by 0.383 unit.2.Deep integration of culture and tourism enhances technological innovation and optimizes industrial structure,which boosts the green development level of Xinjiang's resource-based cities.3.Resource endowment(dependence on mineral resources)negatively moderates the relationship between cultural and tourism integration and green development in resource-based cities in Xinjiang.
