Research on the Path of Green,Low-Carbon,and High-quality Development of Coal,Coal-Fired Power,and Coal Chemical Industry Cluster in Xinjiang
High-quality development is the theme of China's economic and social development during the period of the 14th Five-Year Plan,and for the foreseeable future,coal will still remain the main energy source in China,serving as the ballast and stabilizer for national energy security.The unique coal resource endowment of Xinjiang determines its significant strategic position in national energy security while green and low-carbon development is the primary direction for the coal,coal-fired power,and coal chemical enterprises to achieve high-quality development in Xinjiang.Based on the current development status of the coal in Xinjiang,coal-fired power,and coal chemical industry cluster and the specific regional conditions,this study,through industry surveys,proposes development paths given the opportunities and challenges faced by the industry.The proposals include promoting green and intelligent coal mining,enhancing the efficient utilization of coal through grading and quality differentiation,strengthening and extending the industrial chain of modern coal chemistry,advancing the integration of coal chemistry and renewable energy,and facilitating the resource utilization of carbon dioxide and other pathways for green,low-carbon,and high-quality development.
