Reflections on the Role of Thriving Film and Television Culture in Revitalizing Rural Culture in Xinjiang
Film and television culture,due to its significant position and superior artistic form,holds unique advan-tages,crucial roles,and practical significance in the revitalization of rural culture in Xinjiang.It serves as an es-sential vehicle for implementing cultural policies of"Cultural Replenishment in Xinjiang"and fostering a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation,and as the key means of securing ideological leadership and enhancing cultural identity and confidence.Moreover,it provides an effective pathway for the high-quality integration of cul-ture and tourism.The advancement of rural film and television culture has enjoyed a solid foundation and a promis-ing prospect with the development of rural culture,the growing spiritual and cultural needs of rural people,abun-dant audiences,and robust policy support from the Party and government collectively.This study first deepens the understanding of the role of film and television culture in revitalizing rural culture in Xinjiang and proposes recom-mendations for employing this cultural medium to drive rural revitalization,then it outlines new approaches to achie-ving high-quality development of Xinjiang's film and television culture and rural cultural revitalization as follows:adherence to Xi Jinping's Cultural Thought as guidance;holding fast to the theme of fostering a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation;encouraging a flourishing and diverse pattern of film and television culture;giving full play to the strength of government at various levels;uniting all sectors of society;and inspiring active participa-tion from rural communities.
