Abstract
With the blooming cultural exchange between china and the rest of the world, a growing number of Chinese movies are heading to appear on the international stage. The translation of the movie titles has a vital role to play in attracting the western audience and striving for the box-office returns. The Chinese to English movie title translation has formed its own characteristics which are worthy of researching and investigation.
