Abstract
For quite a long period of time through human history, women has been regarded as men’s accessories and played a trivial role in social division of labor. This phenomenon has undoubtedly contributed to social discrimination upon women in both attitudes and speeches. As a result, sexism in English and Chinese language is a reflection of social sexism. This paper mainly analyses the phenomenon of sexism both in English and Chinese.
