Information technology has achieved tremendous progress, which not only enhanced our ability to access massive information, but also made netizens more willing to make contact with their own like-minded social cir-cles, which exacerbated the formation of bias and thus caused cognitive bias. This article starts from observing the process of information personalization brought by some network technologies, then analyzes the cause & effects of cognitive bias, and ends with a brief discussion about the impact of Internet technology preferences and our reactions.
