Correlation analysis of serum soluble tumor nec-rosis factor like weak apoptosis inducer(sTWEAK),soluble CD40 ligand(sCD40L)levels and diabetic microvascular complications in soluble CD40 ligand(T2DM)patients
Objective To investigate the correlation between serum levels of soluble tumor necrosis factor(TNF)apoptosis weakly inducible factor(sTWEAK),soluble CD40 ligand(sCD40L)and diabetic micro-vascular complications(DMA)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 150 T2DM patients admitted to the hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected asstudy objects.The patients were divided into DMA group(n=69)and T2DM group(n=81)according to whether they had DMA.The serum levels of sTWEAK,sCD40L and clinical data of the 2 groups were detected and compared.Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the risk factors of T2DM complicated with microangiopathopathy.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was drawn to analyze the predictive value of sTWEAK and sCD40L in T2DM complicated microangiopathy.Results Serum sTWEAK and sCD40L levels in DMA group were higher than those in T2DM group(P<0.05).The disease duration,FPG,HbA1c,sTWEAK and sCD40L levels in DA group were higher than those in T2DM group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic analysis showed that long course of disease,high level of HbA1c,high level of sTWEAK and high level of sCD40L were independent risk factors for T2DM complicated microangiopathopathy(P<0.05).ROC results showed that AUC(95%CI)of serum sTWEAK and sCD40L alone and combined in predicting T2DM microangiopathopathy were 0.714(0.635~0.785),0.744(0.666~0.812)and 0.859(0.792~0.910),respectively.The pre-diction efficiency of combined detection was better than that of single detection(Z=2.626,2.395,P<0.05).Conclusion Serum sTWEAK and sCD40L are abnormally elevated in DMA patients,which is closely related to DMA.The combination of sTWEAK and sCD40L has high predictive value for T2DM complicated microangiopathopathy.
