Application value of low-dose esketaminein tracheal general anesthesia thyroidectomy
Objective To explore the application value of low-dose esketamine in tracheal intubation and general anesthesia for thyroidectomy. Methods From July 2021 to January 2023,96 patients who under-went thyroidectomy inthe hospital were divided into 2 groups:an observation group(48 patients)and a control group(48 patients),using the envelope method. Both groups underwent tracheal intubation and general anesthesia for the surgery.Additionally, the observation group received low-dose esketamine. The study focused on comparing anesthesia time, surgical time, and eye-opening time between the 2 groups, along with differences in hemodynamic parameters at various time points. Results There was no statisti-cally significant difference in anesthesia time, extubation time, eye opening time and surgical time between observation group and control group(P>0.05).The mean arterial pressure(MAP)and heart rate(HR)at 5 min after intravenous administration in observation group were significantly higher than those in con-trol group(P<0.05),but at extubation and 5 min after extubation,MAP and HR were significantly low-er than those in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative cough in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).The self-rated anxiety(SAS)score and self-rated depression(SDS)score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 3 days after operation(P<0.05).The drainage volume of the observation group was lower than that of the control group at 1 and 3 days after operation(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Low dose esketamine has good applica-tion value in tracheal intubation general anesthesia thyroidectomy, reducing postoperative cough response and drainage volume, improving patients'emotional status.
