Analysis of the effect of surgical guided eruption combined with orthodontic treatment on impacted upper anterior teeth
Objective To analyze the effect of surgical guided eruption combined with orthodontic treatment on the clinical effi-cacy and treatment satisfaction of patients with impacted upper anterior teeth. Methods 60 patients with impacted maxillary anterior teeth in our hospital from July 2019 to March 2022 were randomly divided into two groups:the control group(surgical guided eruption only)and the observation group(combined with orthodontics),with 30 cases in each group. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate(96.67%)and complication rate(6.67%)of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(96.67%and 26.67%)(x2=5.192,4.320;P<0.05).The gingival rupture time in the observation group was significantly shortened(6.08±1.49)months,and the masticatory function was significantly improved(9.52±0.39)points,which were significantly better than those in the control group(10.49±1.34)minutes,(8.14±0.27)minutes(t=12.053,15.934;P<0.05).The postoperative SF-36 score of the observation group(88.56±4.28)was higher than that of the control group(t=11.576,P<0.05).According to the analysis of treatment satisfaction, the scores of treatment method(92.62±4.05),daily ability(95.38±4.15)and aes-thetic degree(94.23±4.11)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(t=6.255,7.887,8.224;P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of orthodontics combined with surgical guided eruption can significantly improve the clinical effectiveness of anterior impacted teeth, shorten the time of gingival rupture, restore chewing ability, and have a low adverse reaction rate, which can improve patients'treatment satisfaction and quality of life. This program is worth promoting.
