Analysis of discharge readiness and influencing factors of patients with rheumatoid arthritis
Objective To investigate the readiness for discharge of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and to analyze the influenc-ing factors. Methods A total of 130 patients with rheumatoid arthritis admitted to our hospital from April 2021 to February 2022 were selected by random sampling method.A cross-sectional investigation was conducted using general data questionnaire.Discharge readi-ness scale, discharge guidance quality scale and arthritis self-efficacy scale-8,and the influencing factors were analyzed by multiple linear regression. Results 96.92%of patients with rheumatoid arthritis indicated that they were ready to be discharged home, and the total score of discharge readiness was(93.58±5.80).Discharge readiness was positively correlated with self-efficacy and quality of discharge instructions(r=0.436,P<0.001;r=0.553,P<0.001).Univariate analysis showed that the variables with statistically sig-nificances were age, educational level, combined disease, disease course and joint function(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the main factors affecting discharge readiness of patients with rheumatoid arthritis were education level, disease course years, joint function, arthritis self-efficacy and discharge guidance quality(R2=0.530,adjusted R2=0.511,F=27.920,P<0.001).Conclusion The discharge readiness of patients with rheumatoid arthritis is at a medium to high level, which is mainly af-fected by education level, disease duration, joint function,self-efficacy,and quality of discharge guidance.Clinical workers should com-municate positively with patients to help establish long-term confidence in long-term fight against the disease, and constantly improve the quality of discharge guidance to improve the discharge readiness for discharge.
