Application of mind mapping health education in patients with liver cirrhosis with indwelling abdominal drainage tube
Objective To explore the application value of mind mapping health education in patients with liver cirrhosis with in-dwelling abdominal drainage tube. Methods 69 cirrhotic ascites patients hospitalized in our department from March 2021 to July 2021 who underwent B-ultrasound-guided peritoneal catheterization and postoperative catheterization were selected as the control group, and 69 cirrhotic ascites patients hospitalized in our Department from August 2021 to December 2021 who underwent B-ultrasound-guided peritoneal catheterization and postoperative catheterization were selected as the observation group. The control group received routine oral instruction and the observation group received health education using mind mapping. The differences in anxiety and depression,self-care ability, related adverse events and satisfaction were compared between the two groups during the in-dwelling catheter period. Results The incidence of anxiety and depression and adverse events in observation group were lower than that in the control group, while self-care ability and satisfaction were higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Con-clusion Using mind mapping to educate patients with peritoneal catheterization of liver cirrhosis can improve their self-care level and satisfaction, reduce negative emotions and the incidence of adverse events.
