Multivariate analysis of unqualified blood tests in first and repeated blood donors
Objective To analyze the blood test of primary and repeat unpaid blood donors, and to provide reference for the re-cruitment of unpaid blood donation and the inclusion of more healthy blood resources in the unpaid blood donation team through the analysis of different blood donation forms, test items and population distribution characteristics. Methods The test results of unpaid blood donors from Urumqi Blood Center from January 2017 to December 2021 were analyzed, and the distribution of unqualified blood in different groups were compared according to the test items, blood donation forms and population distribution characteristics.Re-sults There was statistical significance in the unqualified rate of blood test in different items of platelet donors with different frequency(P<0.05),and the unqualified rate in different ages of whole blood donors with different frequency(P<0.001).The unqualified rates of whole blood donors and platelet donors with different frequency in different education levels and different occupations were statisti-cally significant(P<0.01).Conclusion Among the unpaid blood donors in Urumqi from 2017 to 2021,the blood unqualified rate is related to the frequency of blood donation, age, education level and occupation distribution of the population. The results showed that young people with higher education who donated blood repeatedly had a lower failure rate.Regular attention should be paid to composi-tion changes of the infected population and the prevalence of population infection items, which is of great significance to ensure blood safety and avoid waste of blood resources.
